Off The Beaten Track is back for it’s 6th year and is bigger and better than ever!!!
Do you love live music?
Do you enjoy meeting people and being part of a team?
Then we need you…….
Running from Friday the 9th of July until Sunday the 11th, the festival involves live music, comedy, spoken word, lots of activities for the children...young and old!
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic team of volunteers who will help us make the festival happen and that can give a minimum of 8hrs over the 3 days.
Being a local festival, we need our own community of festival lovers to help us raise funds for local charities, highlight local music, and support up and coming artists. Our family friendly festival needs you to join the team.
More about being a part of our team…
Roles are varied, full training and guidance will be provided depending on role.
You must be 18 or over to volunteer at OtBT
During the festival you will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt and a hi viz vest to keep you safe and visible to the guests as being a person who can help.
Whilst volunteers are off duty they get to enjoy the festival free of charge with our amazing free ticket for a minimum 8 hours of contributions to the festival.
Shifts run throughout the weekend, but there are also roles around the lead up and the all-important pack down. The festival runs on a site used by the community so we need to return the field back in the same condition as we found it.
Volunteers will receive a warm welcome and induction from the crew on Thursday the 8th of July.
Volunteers can count the hours towards college / university / back to work programmes – if you need forms signing off please bring them with you to the festival and these will be signed off on Sunday. We will also provide you with a certificate of attendance to support your CV.
Lets face it a festival is better with a friend – we encourage volunteers to volunteer with their friends to make memories together.
Festival stewards will need to be our eyes and ears, vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to supporting our festival and the shifts they sign up to. Some will need to be physically fit as they will be on their feet whilst on duty. If you need a specific role which involves seating or adaptions please let us know we are keen to include all and work to every ones strengths

The BIG Briefing
All volunteers are invited to be on site at 6 pm on Thursday 8th July for a pre-festival briefing. This will include a full briefing, fire safety, site tour around the festival and an explanation into exactly what your role entails.
Please indicate all the days and times that you are available. Eight hour shifts will be allocated out according to volunteers' availability and of course some time slots will be more popular than others, so it would be a big help if you could indicate all the times that you are available and be as flexible as possible.
